National Cricket Stadium is one of the best stadiums of the cricket stadium in Karachi, Pakistan. It is currently used for cricket matches. It is also used for hosting the matches of domestic cricket teams of Karachi.

Citizen of Karachi criticize that National Cricket Stadium is very small, according to population Karachi,. In the reaction, PCB announced to increase the capacity of stadium from 34,228 to 90,000 peoples at a time. But with the passage of time this approval looks a bit stale at the moment.
The Pakistani cricket Team has a plenty of test records at the National Cricket Stadium. In the previous 50 years, Pakistani Cricket Team played 40 test matches there. Out of 40 matches, Pakistan won 21 test matches in National Cricket Stadium.
This stadium has a lot of memorable moments. In 1987 Cricket World Cup, VIv Richards scored 181 in National Cricket Stadium Karachi. It is the 5th largest first-class stadium of Karachi.
According to the Latest News, PCB announced that the Third Season of PSL is going to start in 2018. PSL 2018 is the series of 34 matches. Out of 34, ten matches are played in Pakistan. Rafi Cricket Stadium, National Cricket Stadium and Gaddafi Cricket Stadium are selected for 10 matches of PSL Third Season. Remaining 24 matches of PSL will play in Dubai International Cricket Stadium (Dubai) and Sharjah Cricket Stadium (Sharjah).
Pakistan Cricket Board and International Cricket Council are trying to improve the cricket in Pakistan. In the supervision of heavy security, PCB organized Word XI, tour in Pakistan. It is the successful event organized by PCB in September 2017. After the successful event of World XI,tour in Pakistan, Najam Sethi said in a conference, “ As Soon as possible PCB announced tournament which is going to start in the early months of 2018”.
