The International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Federation of International Cricketer’s Association (FICA) met the Sindh chief minister for discussing the security plan about Pakistan Super League 2018.
In this meeting, they would discuss the security plan for PSL Third Season. Reg Dickason of Eastern Star International also visited the National Cricket Stadium Karachi. He is discussing the security arrangements with PCB security officer Azam Khan.
He visited the chairman box, VIP enclosures, dressing rooms, umpire room, control room, scoring tower, media center, the ground and parking of the stadium.
After this visit, he was also met with CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah and IG Sindh A.D Khawaja and discuss security plan.
After monitoring the security plan he talked with media “I had a very productive meeting with the chief minister and IG regarding PSL matches to be played in Pakistan especially in Karachi.”
He continued and also said “We were given a very full and comprehensive briefing by the law enforcement agencies which were heartening. Meeting with the chief minister also went well and he showed a lot of support for cricket coming back in Karachi,”
In his meeting, he also said that there should be given a separate route from the airport to hotel, hotel to stadium and stadium to the ground for increasing the security.
CM Sindh said that “Provision of foolproof security to cricket teams is our responsibility and giving security clearance to ICC is your responsibility.”
He also said that I would personally monitor the each and everything for PSL 2018.
In this meeting, director general Rangers Mohammad Saeed was also present there.
IG Sindh Khawaja warmly welcomes the Reg Dickason and said that it’s a very happy moment for the whole nation to see the comeback of cricket in Pakistan.
He also ensured that there is full proof security plan for all matches played in Pakistan.
Reg Dickason is very happy to see the Security plans for PSL 2018. He was recently for the security plans for World XI in Lahore.
