Najam Sethi announced the second step of bringing back international cricket in Pakistan. He also said that international cricket comeback in Lahore and as it is, it will also come back in Karachi, Pakistan.
He informed that this process is completed step by step. If nation believed, then the international cricket is already back in Karachi.
He further added that “The process of the comeback of international cricket in Pakistan is a process depends upon steps, one step after another. We have now taken first steps for Karachi by renovation of National Cricket Stadium and making a security plan for PSL 2018, and getting it approved by an international security expert,”
PCB Officials security team experts also met with foreign security expert and security consultant of FICA and other cricket boards. Reg Dickason visits Pakistan to discuss security arrangements for matches in the PSL 2018.
Karachi is now ready to host Two to four match of PSL 2018
PCB planned to host as many matches to host in Pakistan. Out of all, two to four matches will be played in Karachi, Pakistan. Therefore, the necessary arrangements are completing soon. Reg Dickason, security expert met IG police and Cm Sindh for monitoring the security plans for PSL 2018.
He also visits the National Cricket Stadium Karachi for inspecting the facilities, venue as well as for security plans.
According to the Najam Sethi, the next step is to ensure the foreign player’s ready play in Karachi. Rather if they do not agree then next step convenience foreign players to play PSL 2018 in Karachi, Pakistan.
He said that Now we will start the process of covience foreign players,”. In the Second Season, PSL final 2017 is successfully played in Ghaddafi Cricket Stadium Lahore, Pakistan. In PSL 2017 many international players like Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuels, David Malan and Chris Jordan are also in it.
The security arrangements made at the Gaddafi Cricket Stadium Lahore is mailed to International Cricket Council. Pakistan is also scheduled to host Pakistan vs Sri Lanka series final match in Ghaddafi Cricket Stadium Lahore. Experts believe that success in holding PSL matches in Karachi will help PCB bring more crickets to Pakistan.
