Pakistan Super League(PSL ) team Karachi Kings finally announced their captain for PSL 2018 Tournament. Imad Wasim selects as the new captain of Karachi kings for PSL Third Season.
The president of Karachi Kings along with owner Salman Iqbal announced this news in a news conference today.
Kuma Sangakkara is the previous captain of Karachi Kings which was recently released from the team. Now, Imad takes the charge of captaincy of the team. He is 28 years old. He is the third official and overall fourth captain for Karachi Kings in PSL.
Shoaib Malik was the captain of the team in First Season. He left captaincy before the two matches and handover the captaincy to Ravi Bopara and England’s player.
Imad will also play as the normal player team said the president of Karachi Kings Shahid Afridi.
He also said that “I did not want to take the role of captain because it increases the pressure during the tournament. Imad is mature enough to lead the team in the PSL 2018”
Imad Wasim said that “its very honor to become the captain of Karachi Kings. It’s a big chance to learn new things. I was recently played with different players and learn new things and now I want to learn more things from senior players.
He more added that “ I will under the supervision of Shahid Khan Afridi. Its very exciting things for me. I will try my best to lead Karachi Kings in Pakistan Super League 2018.
