Salman Irshad first Kashmiri to play in PSL 2018

Salman IrshadSalman Irshad is a Kashmiri former cricket player is participating in the PSL 2018. The Pakistani team will walk around the country and played some o the matches in UAE while remaining in Pakistan.

A Kashmiri player is also walked 100 miles and cross the barriers and participate in PSL 3. Picture of Salman Irshad given below:

He is a 22-year guy. He is a rapid pace bowler. He was recently selected for PSL 3. He is now the part of Lahore Qalandars. The PSL will be going to start on 22 February 2018.

In the talent hunt event conduct by the Lahore Qalandar’s, Salman Irshad is selected for PSL. He is the first player from Kashmir, selected for PSL.

He has become the part of Lahore Qalandar’s rising stars squads. A sports magazine reported that  “There he impressed the locals and was signed up by Hawkesbury Cricket Club, second-grade cricket in Australia, for the rest of the season,”

He was selected in talent hunt because he performed well in his first five divisions as he takes 22 wickets at an average of 12.95 runs.

Lahore Qalandar’s director of cricket operations and Pakistani former fast bowler was immediately impressed by the pace of Salman Irshad.

Aaqib Javed said that “I saw him bowling at 145kmph during Lahore Qalandars’ Rising Stars trials in Azad Kashmir and that very moment I decided to pick him,”

He further added that “There’s no doubt that after fine tuning and some training, he’ll be able to bowl at speed of more than 150kmph,”

He has a good pace of bowling speed as his bowling speed is more than 150kmph.

Shoaib Akhtar fast Pakistani bowler said about Salman Irshad that “He is bowling at 92 miles an hour now. He can go up to 97. And if he puts his heart in, can break the 100 miles per hour barrier. I want to train Salman Irshad myself,”

Shoaib Akhtar is the mentor of Lahore Qalandars.
